  1. The hides and fur rugs are beautiful. I especially like the cowhides, because I grew up on a farm that raised cattle. Mostly Hereford and Angus.

  2. I would like one of each please.

  6. I’m thinking Curious George would like a zebra or leopard skin, since he is from the jungle. I have another question…How long can I expect my cowhide rug to last? Compared to other area rugs.

  7. Hello Lynne. The question as to how long your cowhide rug will last depends upon how it is cared for. Here are some tips:

    1) Never place your cowhide rug in high-traffic areas.
    2) Clean rug weekly by vacuuming carefully with a soft-bristled brush.
    3) Keep rug out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.
    4) Never use harsh chemicals or cleansers on your rug. If necessary, use mild soap and lukewarm water with a clean white rag to remove stains or dirt.
    5) Never “spot clean”. The area around the stain should be cleaned as well as the stain.
    6) If in doubt, take to a professional leather cleaner!

I hope this information is helpful, Lynne. Thanks for asking!

  8. Thanks. That helps.
